Command Completion in shell

You can configure the tab key behavior in the shell e.g, if you press tab key, it should display all the options or it should only beep. The configuration file used for this purpose is located in /etc/inputrc

If you want the tab key to display all the available options (my preference), then add these lines to the file mentioned above.

set show-all-if-ambiguous on

If you know of any other use of this file, please let me know.
